After folding mobile phones, people wonder what will be the next innovations that Samsung will create in their display device.
With the foldable display, Samsung has been creating a different standard for the mobile device. However, according to what it planned, there will still be more extravagant things to be the next features for the display. Recently, there has been a patent published to prove the point. Samsung is too ambiguous to keep itself in a safe place with no more insane innovation.
The patent was mentioned in a post on the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Website, with the idea of a continuous display. According to that, there will be a seamless single screen made by jointed 3 separate displays for the device. Thanks to the invention, the phone can be wrapped up by the screen and enable users to see from sides and front, and the top edge.
You can imagine it is like another foldable model for Samsung phones. However, it is different from the Galaxy Fold. When the Galaxy Fold hides its screens inside , this new version shows the screen on the outside. This makes the device similar somehow to the Huawei Mate X, but the concept for the new Samsung innovation display is still processed and really potential.
The idea has just been recently approved and posted as a patent, although the original was planned back in 2016. It took more than three years to form the idea and make steps for an innovation. With more and more ideas for the world of foldable displays in Samsung industry, it is likely to be the approach to the new generation of mobile phone smart phones, with foldable phone standard.
